We want your NeeDoh toys from myneedohstoys.us.com to stay squishy, clean, and satisfying for as long as possible! Because of their unique, ultra-soft materials, these sensory toys do require a little bit of TLC (Tender Loving Care).

Please follow these simple guidelines to keep your toys in perfect, groovy condition.

1. HOW TO CLEAN YOUR TOYS With all the squeezing and playing, it’s natural for your NeeDoh to pick up some dust, lint, or dirt over time.

  • The Wash: Simply rinse your toy under cool or lukewarm water. You can use a drop of mild, gentle hand soap or dish soap to gently rub away the dirt.
  • The Dry: Pat the toy completely dry with a clean, lint-free towel or paper towel. Do not use heat (like a hair dryer) to dry it.
  • The Secret Step (Powdering): After washing and drying, your toy might feel a little sticky. To restore that smooth, velvety texture, lightly dust the toy with a small amount of cornstarch or baby powder. Just rub it in gently and shake off the excess!

2. THINGS TO AVOID To prevent your toy from tearing, popping, or degrading, please avoid the following:

  • Sharp Objects: Keep away from long fingernails, pet claws, scissors, pens, pencils, and any other sharp items that could puncture the skin of the toy.
  • Extreme Temperatures: Do not leave your toys in direct sunlight for extended periods, inside a hot car, or near heaters. Extreme heat can melt or deform the material. Conversely, do not freeze them (unless it’s a specific product designed for the fridge/freezer, like the Nice Cube).
  • Harsh Chemicals: Never use bleach, alcohol-based wipes, hand sanitizers, or harsh household cleaners on your toys. These will break down the material and cause it to become overly sticky or burst.
  • Rough Surfaces: Try to keep your play on smooth surfaces. Dragging or rubbing the toys against rough concrete, gravel, or abrasive carpets can cause the outer layer to wear down quickly.

3. PROPER PLAY NeeDoh toys are designed for satisfying squishes, smashes, and gentle stretching.

  • Do not over-stretch or twist them aggressively. While they are durable, extreme pulling beyond their intended capacity can cause the seal to break or the material to tear.
  • Watch out for the plug: Most squishy toys have a small, slightly thicker circle or plug where they were filled. Avoid picking at or pulling on this area, as it is the most delicate part of the toy.

4. LIFESPAN OF SQUISHY TOYS Please remember that fidget and squishy toys are consumable items. Depending on the frequency and intensity of use, they will naturally wear out over time. Following these care instructions will significantly extend their lifespan, ensuring endless hours of groovy fun!
